At Bagotica, Essentially New refers to a bag that may have been tried or carried once or twice but remains visually almost indistinguishable from a new boutique piece. Any signs of handling are minimal.
What does Exceptional Pre-Owned mean?

At Bagotica, Exceptional Pre-Owned describes a carefully used bag with only light, indirect signs of wear. The leather remains beautiful, the structure is preserved and the overall impression is exceptionally elegant.
What does Near-New mean?
(8.5/10)
Near-New means very small signs of use may be visible on close inspection, such as slight hardware marks or minimal corner wear. During normal use, the bag still presents almost like new.
What does Very Good mean?
(8/10)
Very Good is the lowest condition grade accepted by Bagotica. The bag may show honest signs of wear, such as softened corners, light scratches or a gentle patina, while remaining structurally strong, elegant and enjoyable to carry.
Why doesn’t Bagotica sell bags rated below 8/10?
Because below our minimum standard, signs of wear become part of the bag’s overall appearance rather than small details.
Items may show collapsed structure, stretched leather, distorted quilting, damaged glazing, heavy corner wear or other visible signs of prolonged use. While such bags may still be authentic, they no longer meet the quality standards required for the Bagotica collection.
